Everyone has their favourite restaurants, and as this blog progresses from a review view point, this list will undoubtedly change. But as it launches, here’s my favourite list. In future editions, we’ll have photos for them all 🙂

Japanese

Shoya Melbourne

25 Market Ln Melbourne VIC 3000

Simply the most impressive degustation meal I’ve ever eaten, not just for quality but simply beyond amazing presentation.

Fusion

Okra

159 Camberwell Rd Hawthorn East 3123

I love Okra with its fusion Asian food mix with its subtle Australian tweeks. I’ve never had a bad meal here.

Vietnamese

Indochine

51 Carrington Rd Box Hill 3128

Cheap, cheerfull, quick and awesome Vietnamese food

Modern Australian

Fifteen Melbourne

115 – 117 Collins Street Melbourne VIC 3000

Jamie Oliver’s Restaurant doesn’t disappoint with a reasonable price list and delightful food.

Hamburgers

Grill’d

Glenferrie Road Hawthorn/ Burke Road Camberwell

Ok, so I think I cook a better hamburger, but when it comes to best of class burgers in Melbourne, you can’t go past Grill’d.

There are others but we’ll keep them for another post.
