Fish and Chips: or more accurately, pan fried wild Barramundi, Kumara chips and a tossed garden salad

Hi, I’m Duncan Riley and you might know me from sites including The Inquisitr, duncanriley.com, TechCrunch, The Blog Herald and even b5media.

In all my years in blogging I’ve never done a food blog before, but there’s always a first time for everything.

I love food, making it and consuming it, and although I’m far from a gourmet chef, for a bloke I’m not too bad.

RandomAltFood will neither be a recipe site nor a restaurant and review site, but a combination there in. I’ll even be blogging about cooking using jars and packets when the need arises.

There will be a Melbourne emphasis naturally in the restaurant reviews, but the other stuff should have a broader appeal.

I hope you might one day enjoy this site as much as I am in creating and hopefully soon writing for it.
